An Early Morning

Ahau Tulum is a beautiful and luxurious beach resort located in the heart of Tulum Beach. Known worldwide, as the iconic Ven a La Luz sculpture stands at the entrance.

Lauren and Gaston chose to experience their epic elopement on the white sandy beach at Ahau Tulum. With an incredible early morning ceremony, followed by a bike ride down the dirt road of Tulum Beach.

Lauren and Gaston started their morning getting ready in a ocean view villa. Lauren sat outside on the deck while her hair and make-up was done, pausing just long enough to enjoy the peaceful sunrise over the water.

The resort was quiet, as this August wedding was during the slow season in Tulum. Although, weather did not disappoint, even though this time of year is known for rain.

Ahau Tulum is the perfect location for a sunrise, or sunset, ceremony on the beach.

After getting ready, Lauren and Gaston walked together to the statue in the front of the resort. Usually, line-filled, the sculpture was empty in the morning for the two of them to celebrate their elopement prior to heading down to the beach for their morning ceremony.

The Ceremony

Afterwards, Lauren and Gaston made their way down to the beach. The sun was up and shining. A beautiful floral arrangement and private sweetheart table right at the oceanfront ready for them.

Lauren walked down to the beach, as Gaston stood there waiting. Nothing beats an epic first look on the shores of the Caribbean. They exchanged vows and went over to their sweetheart table to celebrate!

A Beachfront Caribbean Elopement in Tulum Adventure

Afterwards, Lauren and Gaston decided to take their wedding day celebration to the streets. They enjoyed a bike ride down the dirt road of Tulum Beach. Although bumpy, each managed to stay on their bikes for the ride.

Pure Love Florist and Archive Rentals helped to set up the perfect elopement at Ahau Tulum. The vendors were incredible and worked to make this day perfect!
